Slow cooked pot roast with herbs & red wine.

Recipe Ingredients for crock-pot Pot Roast

1 piece, cooked, excluding refuse Beef, Chuck, Arm Pot Roast
1 fl oz Wine, Table, Red
1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 tbsp Rosemary, Fresh
1 tsp Thyme, Fresh
7 grams Oregano
1 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf
5 grams Minced In Oil Garlic
0.1 serving Gravy

Recipe Directions for crock-pot Pot Roast

  1. Place roast in crock pot.

  2. Gently pour red wine, Worcestershire sauce, and 2 cups of water around the roast. The water will keep the roast moist, so add more if you have a larger crock-pot.

  3. Add fresh herbs & garlic to liquid around roast (I use as many of the herbs straight from my garden as possible, to ensure no pesticides were used).

  4. Sprinkle top of roast with Bisto to give a richer flavor & browner color to the meat.

  5. Slow cook for 8-9 hrs until roast is tender and thouroughly cooked.

  6. (Note: To make this recipe low-salt, skip the Bisto.)
