Recipe Ingredients for Crock-Pot Macaroni and Cheese

1 1/2 cups low-fat milk
15 ounce evaporated skim milk
1 large egg, beaten
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 tsp ground black pepper
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 ounces elbow macaroni
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Crock-Pot Macaroni and Cheese

  1. Coat the slow cooker w/ nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Combine milks, egg, salt, pepper in cooker and whisk until smooth.

  3. Add cheese and macaroni; gently stir to coat evenly.

  4. Sprinkle Parmesan on top.

  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 3 1/2 to 4 hours, until custard is set in the center and the pasta is tender.

  6. Do not cook for more than 4 hours, as the sides will dry out and burn.
