This is the correct calorie count, the other recipe did not calculate the correct amount of calories for the steel cut oats. This is a really creamy oatmeal, very filling. This can also be frozen. I keep half in my fridge for the week, and the other goes in the freezer for the next week.

Recipe Ingredients for crock pot irish oatmeal

480 grams oatmeal, dry, steel cut, Country Choice Organic
24 oz milk, canned, evaporated, nonfat
9 cups water
3 tablespoons splenda
1 tablespoon cinnamon

Recipe Directions for crock pot irish oatmeal

Add all ingredients to crock pot. Stir, cover and cook on low for 4 to 4 1/2 hours.
