Used 1 (7 oz) can of chile peppers and added some diced jalapenos for a little more spice.

Recipe Ingredients for Crock Pot Green Chile Pork

2 lb pork tenderloin
1 onion, chopped
4 green peppers, chopped
1 T garlic, diced
1/2 cup green chile pepper
50 grams bunch cilantro
1/2 cup water
1 cup cooking sherry
1 1/2 T dried oregano

Recipe Directions for Crock Pot Green Chile Pork

  1. Cut pork into small pieces, removing as much fat as possible. Place in crockpot.

  2. Stir in onion, bell peppers, chile peppers, garlic and cilantro. Add water, sherry, and season with oregano.

  3. Cover and cook on low about 8 hours.

  4. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.

  5. Serve with warm tortillas or rice.
