Brisket without all the calories. Great served with steamed carrots, roasted potatos, and fried (not really...cooked in pan w/non-fat spray until browned) Cabbage.

Recipe Ingredients for Crock Pot Brisket

1 large sweet onion
329 g Beef Brisket
1 cup of reduced sodium chicken broth
1 tbsp Worchestershire Sauce

Recipe Directions for Crock Pot Brisket

  1. 1. RINSE the brisket VERY well. Make sure all fat is trimmed...remember NO FAT.

  2. 2. Slice Onion, place in crock pot

  3. 3. Mix chicken broth (which is reduced sodium, and fat free) and Worchestershire Sauce (recommend French's).

  4. 4. Place brisket on top of the onion in the crock pot.

  5. 5. Pour broth/Worchestershire sauce mixture over brisket.

  6. 6. Cook on Medium for 6-8 hours Covered.

  7. You will know it's done, when you try to pick the meat up with a fork and it falls apart. Drain the liquids, throw out the onion, slice the brisket, and serve. This is REALLY easy, and almost completely idiot proof.
