Oatmeal "Baked" in a slow cooker. I like to add warm milk in the morning. Tastes similar to bread pudding. Takes 2-3 hours. You want to start checking on it at around 1:45 to make sure it doesn't dry out.

Recipe Ingredients for Crock-Pot Baked Oatmeal

2 cups uncooked quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup raisins
1 tablespoon chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups fat-free milk
1/2 cup applesauce
1 large egg, beaten
1 Cooking spray

Recipe Directions for Crock-Pot Baked Oatmeal

Combine the first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl. Combine the milk, applesauce, and egg. Add milk mixture to oat mixture; stir well. Pour oat mixture into 4 cup slow cooker. Cook on low for 2-3 hours.
