Crispy Garlic-Thyme Chicken Breasts The 2T of thyme is 4 sprigs of fresh thyme.

Recipe Ingredients for Crispy Garlic-Thyme Chicken Breasts

14 oz chicken breasts
1 t black pepper
1 T Canola oil
2 cloves garlic
2 T fresh thyme
2 t butter

Recipe Directions for Crispy Garlic-Thyme Chicken Breasts

  1. # Preheat oven to 375

  2. # Rub breasts with pepper and set aside for 5 minutes

  3. # Heat pan on high for 2 minutes then add the oil

  4. # Place the chicken skin down in the pan, move to keep it from sticking

  5. # Cook on medium until skin is browned

  6. # Place the pan in the lowest rack in the oven for 10 minutes

  7. # Put the pan back om a medium burner

  8. # Add the smashed garlic, thyme and butter to the pan

  9. # Flip the chicken over carefully

  10. # Continue to cook for two minutes, basting continually

  11. # Put the chicken on a resting rack for 5 minutes then serve
