Crispy Garlic-Thyme Chicken Breasts The 2T of thyme is 4 sprigs of fresh thyme.

Recipe Ingredients for Crispy Garlic-Thyme Chicken Breasts

14 oz chicken breasts
1 t black pepper
1 T Canola oil
2 cloves garlic
2 T fresh thyme
2 t butter

Recipe Directions for Crispy Garlic-Thyme Chicken Breasts

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. Rub breasts with pepper and set aside for 5 minutes

  3. Heat pan on high for 2 minutes then add the oil

  4. Place the chicken skin down in the pan, move to keep it from sticking

  5. Cook on medium until skin is browned

  6. Place the pan in the lowest rack in the oven for 10 minutes

  7. Put the pan back om a medium burner

  8. Add the smashed garlic, thyme and butter to the pan

  9. Flip the chicken over carefully

  10. Continue to cook for two minutes, basting continually

  11. Put the chicken on a resting rack for 5 minutes then serve
