Crepes Recipe

Great for Shrove Tuesday or just a dessert. Top it with anything you like.

Recipe Ingredients for Crepes

9 fl oz milk, semi-skimmed
250 g Water
300 g plain flour
2 eggs
3 tbsp Xylitol
30 g unsalted butter
1 tbsp sunflower oil

Recipe Directions for Crepes

  1. Add all the ingredients into a big measuring jug in the order. Whisk very well. It is good to leave the dough to stand for a while.

  2. Heat the pan. There is no need to grease the pan as we added butter and oil to the dough, however it is good to spray a little oil for the first crepe.

  3. Pour the dough in the middle of the pan and spread with circular motion. Fry on both sides until slightly golden.
