Recipe Ingredients for Creole Sausage Rice Supreme

4 link Lean Turkey Italian Sausage
1 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
0.5 pepper, large (3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Yellow
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1.25 cup Diced Tomatoes
2 tbsp Minced Garlic
6 tsp Creole Seasoning
1.5 uncooked cup Jasmine Rice
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 cup Peas, Green

Recipe Directions for Creole Sausage Rice Supreme

  1. Add half oil to a sauce pan. Add chopped onions, garlic. Cook to translucent. Add rice and stir constantly until rice turns slightly brown. Add chicken stock and cup of water, reduce to simmer until rice is done

  2. Add rest of oil to skillet and cook peppers until tender.

  3. Add sausage and cook till warm

  4. Add tomatoes and peas

  5. When rice is complete, combine with sausage and peppers, add creole seasoning and continue simmering for 10 minutes
