Recipe Ingredients for Creme Anglaise

1 cup heavy cream
2 tsp vanilla
8 egg yolks
3/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups milk

Recipe Directions for Creme Anglaise

  1. bring milk and cream to boil

  2. in another bowl, add egg yolks and sugar

  3. mix well

  4. add 1/2 cup milk to egg yolk to temper

  5. once tempered add egg mixture to milk

  6. bring just to boil

  7. cook and still until pudding consistency
