Creamy tuna, lemon and garlic pasta

Recipe Ingredients for Creamy tuna, lemon and garlic pasta

315 g pasta
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 cup chicken stock
205 ml evaporated milk
320 g tuna in water
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Creamy tuna, lemon and garlic pasta

  1. Cook the pasta.

  2. Cook onion until tender and clear, add garlic.

  3. Cook for further 2 minutes.

  4. Increase heat to high, add zest and juice of the lemon and the stock.

  5. Simmer for three minutes

  6. Stir in the evaporated milk and flaked, drained tuna and cook for further 2 minutes.

  7. Season well with salt and pepper.

  8. Add the pasta and parsley to the pan and stir to combine. Heat until warmed through.

  9. Serve garnished with parmesan.
