Fresh steamed spinach in a thick, creamy sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Spinach

16 oz fresh spinach, steamed
1 tbs butter
2 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp chicken bouillon granules
1/8 tsp nutmeg
3/4 c skim milk

Recipe Directions for Creamy Spinach

  1. Melt butter in medium saucepan.

  2. Add cornstarch, bouillon, and nutmeg.

  3. Add milk all at once, stirring constantly till thick and bubbly. Cook two minutes more.

  4. Add steamed spinach and heat through.
