Recipe Ingredients for creamy seaside soup

24 oz clams
3 oz bacon, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 large carrot, chopped
2 stalk celery, chopped
2 tablespoon all purpose flour
2 large (12-ounce) potato, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
36 oz canned skim milk
1 Pepper to taste
3 tablespoon fresh chives
1 cup cauliflower, chopped
1 cup broccoli, chopped
4 medium radishes, chopped (including greens)
4 oz shrimp, small salad size, rinsed
4 oz scallops, small, rinsed

Recipe Directions for creamy seaside soup

  1. Chop the potatoes and add to a large soup crock. add water until covered about 1 inch. Bring to a boil and simmer until soft.

  2. While the potatoes are boiling, cook bacon, chop. Drain teh pan adn return the bacon to the pan. Add the remaining vegetables and saute until almost done. Add the flour (may add a bit more for desired thickness) and coat the mixture. Add the whole thing to the potatoes.

  3. When the potatoes and vegetables are done, reduce heat and add the seafood. Simmer on low about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and add the milk. Stir and serve.
