i left out the butter (from the original recipe) & added evap milk to inc the creamy mouthfeel

Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Rice Pudding

1.5 cup Rice, White, Long-grain, Regular, Cooked
1.25 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
6 oz Evaporated Milk 2% M.F. Partly Skimmed
6 tsp Sugars, Granulated
1 dash Salt, Table
1 large Egg, Whole
0.3 cup (not packed) Raisins, Golden Seedless
0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract

Recipe Directions for Creamy Rice Pudding

  1. Put cooked rice in sauce pan with 3/4 cup of evap milk & 3/4 cup of 1% milk.

  2. Add sugar, salt and cook over med heat until thickened, 15 to 20 min. Add another 1/2 cup 1% milk and beaten egg & raisins. Cook for 2-5 min more, stirring constantly until very creamy. Remove from heat & add vanilla, nutmeg and/or cinnamon if desired.
