Recipe Ingredients for creamy rice pudding

1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cups skim milk
1 cup long-grain white rice
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tsp Ground cinnamon

Recipe Directions for creamy rice pudding

  1. Put olive oil in pressure cooker.

  2. Add the milk and bring to a boil.

  3. Stir in the rice.

  4. Cover and bring to high pressure over high heat.

  5. Lower the heat to stabilize the pressure.

  6. Cook for 10 minutes.

  7. Remove from the heat.

  8. Release the pressure by using the natural release method.

  9. This method takes about 15 to 25 minutes.

  10. Unlock and remove the cover.

  11. Stir in the sugar and vanilla.

  12. Serve warm or at room temperature, sprinkled with cinnamon.
