good use of fresh veggies and leftover pasta - 3 cups of pasta would have worked with this amount of sauce, quite easily.

Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Prima Verra

2 cups spaghetti
1 pound mushrooms
1 cup chopped asparagus
1/2 small onion
1/2 cup tomatoes
1/2 cup carrot
1 tbs olive oil
2 tbs half n half
1 tbs dijon mustard
3 tbs marinara sauce
3 cloves garlic
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbs oregano

Recipe Directions for Creamy Prima Verra

  1. chop veggies keep separate

  2. heat pan with olive oil

  3. add onion and garlic

  4. after the onion is starting to brown, add mushrooms, asparagus and carrots

  5. saute for about five minutes until mushrooms begin to reduce

  6. add tomatoes

  7. saute another few minutes to soften veggies

  8. add marinara, cream, oregano, dijon mustard.

  9. saute while sauce thickens, only a few moments

  10. add cooked pasta, toss lightly for a few more moments to mix the veggies in

  11. salt and pepper to taste

  12. a few grates of hard cheese is a nice condoment, but equally good without.
