Pork chops breaded and baked with a sauce of cream, butter, garlic, and parmesan. I always have extra sauce and like to serve with bread or pasta to soak up some of the sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Parmesan Pork Chops

1/4 cup skim milk
2 T. dijon mustard
1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 t. salt
1 T. pepper
6 pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
4 T. butter, divided
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 c. white wine
3/4 c. cream
2 T. parmesan, shredded

Recipe Directions for Creamy Parmesan Pork Chops

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Spray a broiler pan with cooking spray. Combine milk and mustard in a shallow bowl, and put bread crumbs in another shallow bowl.

  2. Season the chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Dip the chops in the milk/mustard mixture then dredge in bread crumbs. Set on broiler pan. Bake chops in 375F oven for 30 minutes.

  3. When you have 10-15 minutes remaining on the chops, proceed with sauce. Melt 2 T. butter in saucepan. Saute garlic for a minute or two, then stir in cream and white wine. Cook until slightly reduced and thickened. Stir in parmesan, whisking constantly. Remove from heat and swirl in remaining butter. Top chops with sauce.
