Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Mushroom Pasta

1/2 pound Farfalle
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 pound sliced mushrooms
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
1 1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 cups Creamy Portobello Mushroom Soup
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp balsamic vinegar

Recipe Directions for Creamy Mushroom Pasta

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.

  2. Steam saute garlic briefly, then add the mushrooms, salt and pepper. Saute until a lot of the moisture has been released.

  3. Add the wine, turn up heat and boil until liquid reduces by about half.

  4. Stir cornstarch into soup until dissolved. Add to mushroom mixture in pan and heat, stirring, until thickened.

  5. Drain pasta, add it to the sauce and stir in. Add balsamic vinegar and stir some more.

  6. Serve and enjoy with a nice veggie.
