Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Lentil Soup

1.5 cup Red Lentils
2 tbsp Olive Oil
3 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots
4 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery
3 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
1 medium Turnips
5 cup (8 fl oz) Water
2 tsp Vinegar red wine
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Paprika
2 tsp Sea Salt
2 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Creamy Lentil Soup

  1. saute onions and celery in olive oil for 5 minutes.

  2. add remaining vegetables (washed, peeled and chopped in small pieces), lentils (washed) and appx. 5 cups water.

  3. Add spices.

  4. Bring to a boil.

  5. Cover and simmer on low for 25-30 minutes.

  6. Enjoy this healthy, filling treat!

  7. simmer 30 minutes.
