Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Leek Gratin

1.5 oz Butter
4 cup Leeks, (Bulb And Lower Leaf-portion)
16 oz Shallots
5 tsp Thyme, Fresh
5.33 oz Wine, Table, White
8 tbsp Cream, Fluid, Heavy Whipping
10 tbsp Cream, Fluid, Heavy Whipping
8.5 slice (1 oz) Cheddar Cheese

Recipe Directions for Creamy Leek Gratin

  1. Melt the butter in a pan and gently fry the leeks, shallots, and thyme for 5-10 minutes until softened. Pour in the white wine and leave to bubble away for 5 minutes.

  2. Add the crea, season and simmer gently for 5-6 minutes. Transfer to an ovenproof dish and leave to cool. Or 8 little ramikens.

  3. Preheat over to 350 F

  4. Cover the contents of the dish with the grated cheese and bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes. Serve Hot.
