Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Cottage Omelet

1 egg
5 egg whites
1/2 cups fat free milk
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup mushrooms
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Recipe Directions for Creamy Cottage Omelet

  1. Separate yolk from 1 egg, mix yolk with milk, cheese, mushrooms, salt, and pepper.

  2. Fold in the egg whites gently. Do not over-mix.

  3. Grease a skillet with cooking spray, and heat until skillet is hot.

  4. Turn heat to low, pour in mixture. Cook covered, checking occasionally.

  5. Once cooked through, serve.
