Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Chili

2 lbs chicken breast
624 g (3 cups dry) 15 bean soup
10 c water
3 T chili powder
16 oz canned tomato sauce
4 oz (1/2 c) KC Masterpiece Hickory Brown Sugar BBQ sauce
1 T salt
1/2 c sugar
16 oz sour cream
40 oz chopped fresh tomatoes

Recipe Directions for Creamy Chili

  1. Give the beans a head start by boiling in the 10 cups of water for about 30 minutes.

  2. While the beans are boiling, microwave the chicken most of the way. Don't over-do it, or the chicken will be dry. Cut the chicken into small chunks. Add them to the beans and turn it down to medium for a gentle boil.

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients, EXCEPT for the sour cream. Let it cook down for about 2 hours. Turn it down and let it simmer for another hour.

  4. About 10 minutes before it's done, add the sour cream. Makes 15 1-cup servings.
