Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Soup

1 cup Long Grain and Wild Rice Blend
1 cup, chopped Onions
1 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots
2 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
8 oz Mushrooms
2 clove Garlic
48 fl oz Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth
3 cup, chopped or diced Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
14 fl oz Milk
0.13 cup Cornstarch
1 tsp Salt, Table
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black
0.5 tsp, ground Tarragon, Dried
0.25 Teaspoon Thyme
1 serving Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 oz Wine

Recipe Directions for Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Soup

Saute vegetables in oil 7 - 8 minutes. Add chicken, broth, cooked rice and seasonings. Boil. Mix cornstarch and evaporated milk. Add mixture and wine to soup. Boil, then reduce heat to medium for 5 minutes to thicken. Serve with warm bread!
