Chicken and rice in a delicious soup sauce!

Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Chicken and Rice

1 1/2 cup Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup
1 cup water
3/4 cup rice, uncooked
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cups frozen vegetables, thawed
16 oz boneless chicken breast
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Creamy Chicken and Rice

  1. Mix soup, water, rice, onion powder, and pepper in a shallow baking dish. Stir in veggies.

  2. Top with chicken, sprinkle additional spices if desired. Cover

  3. Bake until chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender, about 45 minutes.

  4. Remove from oven. Sprinkle cheese over chicken and stir rice before serving.

  5. [TIP: For a toasty cheese topping - after baking, sprinkle chicken with cheese, uncover and place under broiler for a few minutes.]
