Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Chicken Noodle - 4.15.11

1 1/4 cup carrots
1 1/4 cup onions
1 1/4 cup celery
1 tbs Canola Oil
10 1/2 oz rotisserie chicken
32 fl oz chicken broth
2 cups water
112 grams egg noodles
1 cup whole milk
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Creamy Chicken Noodle - 4.15.11

  1. Fry up the onions, celery and carrots in the canola until onions are translucent.

  2. Add chicken broth, water and rotisserie chicken and bring to a boil.

  3. Add noodles and cook for 1 minute.

  4. Turn off the burner and add milk, salt and pepper.

  5. Let soup sit on stove until room temperature and then separate out into freezable servings.
