Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Carrot Asparagus Soup

1/2 cup Macaroni (Dry)
1 cup 2% Milk
14 Baby Carrots (Chopped)
1/2 cup Canned Asparagus
1 Cube Chicken Bouillon
2 slices of American Cheese
3 tsp Corn Starch
2 slices Turkey Bacon

Recipe Directions for Creamy Carrot Asparagus Soup

  1. In a medium sized sauce pan, bring three cups of water to a boil. Chop the baby carrots while water is heating. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Add carrots to boiling water along with the macaroni. Let cook at a rolling boil for 6 minutes.

  3. Turn heat down to medium low and add asparagus and milk. Place two strips of turkey bacon in the hot oven while soup cooks for another 5 minutes.

  4. In a small cup combine cornstarch with 4 Tsp of water, stir. Add cornstarch slurry to soup, and stir to prevent lumps.

  5. Turn heat off soup and add cheese. Take out bacon.

  6. Serve and crumble one slice of bacon on each bowl.
