Recipe Ingredients for Creamy Baked 4 Cheese Pasta

3/4 cup bread crumbs, Panko
1/4 cup cheese, parmesan, grated
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
4 ounces cheese, Fontina, shredded
3 ounces cheese, Gorgonzola, crumbled
1/2 cup cheese, Pecorino Romano, grated
1/4 cup cheese, Parmesan, grated
1 lb Pasta, Penne
2 tsp butter
2 tsp flour
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
1/4 tsp pepper
1 salt

Recipe Directions for Creamy Baked 4 Cheese Pasta

Combine crumbs, 1/4 cup Parmesan, salt & pepper. Set aside. In a large bowl combine the four cheese. Set aside. In a heavy sauce pan melt butter, add flour cook for one minute Add cream & pepper. Season with salt to taste (remembering that cheese is salty). Bring back to boil and simmer for 1 minute stirring. Cover and set aside. Pre-heat oven to 500 degrees. Cook Penne until almost done (just before Al Dente). Drain Pasta (not well, you still want some pasta water to be in the pasta) and add to cheese. Pour white sauce over. Cover and set aside for 3 minutes or until cheese melts. Mix. Pour into 13x9 pan (ungreased) and top with bread crubs pressing them into the cheese & pasta. Bake for 7 minutes or until golden brown.
