Tasty esp served with Salmon or poached egg. You can use silverbeet or watercress instead.

Recipe Ingredients for Creamed Spinach

2 cups spinach
1 t olive oil
1 T flour
1/2 cup fat free milk
30 g parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Creamed Spinach

  1. Finely chop and boil spinach, drain and set aside

  2. Combine oilve oil and flour and milk in a saucepan

  3. stir (enusure no lumps form) and bring to the boil

  4. Sauce will thicken after boiling, continue to cook for a minute or two after thickend.

  5. Keep stirring to prevent burning.

  6. Remove from heat.

  7. Add parmesan cheese and spinach

  8. Combine well and serve
