Recipe Ingredients for Creamed Spinach

1 1/2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 1/2 tbsp Flour
1 cups Milk
1/4 cup Parmesan, grated
1 small Onion, finely chopped
1 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
6 cups Spinach, raw

Recipe Directions for Creamed Spinach

  1. In saucepan, combine flour and butter, heat and stir to make a roux

  2. Add milk and parmesan

  3. In a pot large enough for all the spinach, saute onion and garlic in remaining butter; add spinach

  4. Cook 10 minutes, or until the spinach is hot and the onion is translucent

  5. Add white sauce and mix thoroughly
