Great in the spring with garden veggies. Can also use frozen peas.

Recipe Ingredients for Creamed Peas, New Potatoes & Ham

1 1/2 pounds new potatoes
2 cups peas, shelled
1/4 cup green onion, sliced
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 dash white pepper
1 cup milk
2 cups ham, diced

Recipe Directions for Creamed Peas, New Potatoes & Ham

  1. Wash & boil potatoes in salted water 10 - 15 minutes

  2. shell peas boil 10 - 15 minutes

  3. Cook onion in butter till tender. Stir in flour salt, and pepper. Add milk. Cook and stir til thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 - 2 minutes more.

  4. Combine vegetables, ham and onion mixture.
