Recipe Ingredients for Creamed Mushrooms Florentine

1 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 onion, sliced (yellow or sweet red)
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup fat free sour cream
1 1/2 cup chopped spinach
1 Oregano, Sea Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Creamed Mushrooms Florentine

  1. Pour 1 tablespoon olive oil in skillet

  2. Add the sliced onion, saute until soft

  3. Add the minced garlic

  4. Add the sliced mushrooms

  5. Add the chopped spinach

  6. Stir in the fat free sour cream

  7. Stir on low heat until combined

  8. Season with sea salt, pepper and oregano to taste

  9. Simmer for about 5 minutes

  10. Serve over rice, toast, or noodles of your choice for ADDITIONAL nutrients
