Recipe Ingredients for cream of veggie soup

0.25 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
5 1tsp Olive Oil
3 tbsp Salted Butter
3 clove Garlic
2 medium raw Onion Yellow
1 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
3 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
1 cup, chopped Carrots
4 cup Vegetables, Mixed
1.5 tbsp Poultry Seasoning
2 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
8 tbsp Fat-Free Half and half
5 dash Pepper, Black
5 dash Salt, Table
2 tbsp Soy Sauce

Recipe Directions for cream of veggie soup

  1. brown onions and garlic in oil and butter. add red pepper and brown a bit more. add flour and make a rue. then add milk, cream, and about 3 - 4 cups of water. add seasoning, and soy sauce. add diced potatoes carrots and frozen mixed vegetables. simmer on low for about 1 - 2 hours. thicken if needed.

  2. makes about 10 cups = 20 1/2 cup servings
