1 leek Leeks, (Bulb And Lower Leaf-portion)
30 grams Rice, White, Glutinous
11 oz Milk Whole
170 grams Mushrooms, Brown, Italian, Or Crimini
3 tbsp Heavy Cream

Recipe Directions for Cream of Mushroom soup

  1. Combine the rice, thinly sliced leek, and milk, bring to a gentle simmer and simmer for about 20 minutes.

  2. Add the coarsely chopped mushrooms and simmer for about 7 minutes.

  3. Puree the soup with a blender, add the cream and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
