Recipe Ingredients for Cream of Mushroom Soup

2 cups cooked sliced mushrooms
2 cups whole milk
3 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tbsp flour

Recipe Directions for Cream of Mushroom Soup

  1. Saute mushrooms in the butter with salt and pepper over medium heat until cooked

  2. Sprinkle the flour over mushrooms and stir to coat

  3. Add milk very slowly

  4. Bring to a low boil for 1 minute

  5. Serve immediately, makes 2 entree servings or 4 side dish servings
