Recipe Ingredients for cream of mushroom soup

2 cups mushrooms
2 cups onions
2 teaspoon dill
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup skim milk
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/4 cup parsley
1/2 cup sour cream

Recipe Directions for cream of mushroom soup

  1. combine first five ingredients with a pat of butter in medium sized pot.

  2. saute till onions are soft but not browned.

  3. add chicken broth.

  4. whisk flour into milk and add salt and pepper.

  5. stir into mushroom mixture and season with salt and pepper.

  6. let simmer for 20-30 minutes.

  7. add parsely and sour cream.

  8. serve immediately.
