Recipe Ingredients for Cream of Green Lentils with Veal Shank

5.5 serving Lentils, green, dried, (Giselle)
16 oz Veal, Shank (Fore And Hind)
7 oz Onions
1/4 cup Coriander Leaves
1 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
1 tablespoon Oregano
1 serving Seasoning Powder RANCHERO
1 dash Pepper, Black
1/2 inch Garlic Paste

Recipe Directions for Cream of Green Lentils with Veal Shank

Put in a pressure cooker the one pound of 2 inches veal shank cubes, the whole onion, the whole green sweet pepper, the coriander leaves, oregano, black pepper, the seasoning powder, and garlic paste. Add the one pound of dried green lentils. Complete with water 2/3 of the cooker. Place the lid and bring to cook. Once is boiling, let 40 more minutes. Take the cooker carefully, cool it and open it. Put in a blender the cooked onion, sweet green pepper and coriander leaves and some of the lentils liquid and blend it, then pouring this cream in the cooker an let it get creamy for some minutes stirring constantly. Serve with white rice.
