Recipe Ingredients for Cream of Curry Tomato Soup

2 pounds tomatoes
3 cups chicken broth
1 cup water
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon curry powder
10 basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Recipe Directions for Cream of Curry Tomato Soup

  1. Slice fresh tomatoes and quarters. Add water and chicken broth and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the tomatoes are soft.

  2. Remove from heat - add cream, curry powder, basil leaves, salt and pepper. Use a stick blender and puree until smooth.
