This is thick and creamy like a chowder but has no potatoes or seafood.

Recipe Ingredients for Cream of Chicken and Mushroom Chowder

1 cup Cream of Mushroom Soup
1.5 cup Chicken Stock
1.834 oz Chicken, Thigh, Meat Only
1 cup pieces Mushrooms
2 tsp Chicken Base

Recipe Directions for Cream of Chicken and Mushroom Chowder

  1. Chop onion fine and sautee until clear in the butter.

  2. Chop the cooked chicken I use the chicken I cooked to make the stock.

  3. Add the chicken in to the onion and heat.

  4. Drain the mushrooms, pat dry with Paper Towels.

  5. Add to chicken and onion.

  6. Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes.

  7. Add cream of mushroom soup, chicken stock and base and heat through.
