Recipe Ingredients for Cream Cheese Potatoes

2 1/2 lb potatoes
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp salt
4 oz cream cheese
1 small onion

Recipe Directions for Cream Cheese Potatoes

  1. Cover potatoes with water and season with salt.

  2. Cover pan to bring potatoes to quick boil.

  3. Boile potatoes until tender, about 12 mins.

  4. Drain potatoes and return to hot pot to dry. Set aside.

  5. Heat milk, cream cheese and onion over medium low heat until cream cheese melts into milk and mixture bubbles.

  6. Pour hot milk mixture into the potatoes and mash to desired consistency.

  7. Add a little extra milk for softer potatoes.
