Horrible for you...but too delicious!

Recipe Ingredients for Cream Cheese Flan

1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 c water
8 oz cream cheese
5 eggs
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 can evaporated milk

Recipe Directions for Cream Cheese Flan

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Combine sugar & water in heavy saucepan.

  3. Heat over low until melted

  4. Increase heat and boil until amber (12-15 minutes)

  5. Immediately pour into 9x9x3 pan and tilt to coat bottom

  6. In blender, combine cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, eggs & vanilla. Blend until smooth (30 seconds)

  7. Pour into bowl and add evaporated milk, stir

  8. Pour over caramel in pan

  9. Place in water bath 1-1 1/2 inch deep water bath

  10. Bake until set, 50 minutes

  11. Carefully remove pan from water bath and chill over night, covered
