Recipe Ingredients for Cranberry scones

8 ounces self raising flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 ounce margarine
1/4 pint milk, skimmed
125 grams dried cranberries
1 ounce sugar

Recipe Directions for Cranberry scones

  1. Sieve together the flour and baking powder, add the margarine and rub into the flour, stir in the mixed fruit and sugar mix well, then add the milk. turn out on a lightly floured surface and roll out to a thickness of approximately 1/2 inch. Cut into rounds with a metal cutter.

  2. Place scones on a non stick baking tray and glaze with a little extra milk. Place in a pre heated oven gas mark 7 for 15-20 minutes.
