Classic cranberry sauce 1 serving = 2 T

Recipe Ingredients for Cranberry Sauce

1 1/2 c sugar
3/4 c orange juice, fresh
1/2 t cinnamon
1/4 t ginger
1/8 t cloves
12 oz fresh cranberries
1 t orange rind, grated

Recipe Directions for Cranberry Sauce

  1. Medium pan over medium to medium high heat

  2. Put all ingredients in pan

  3. Bring to boil

  4. Reduce heat to medium

  5. Cook approximately 12 minutes, berries will start popping

  6. Remove from heat

  7. Stir in rind

  8. Serve chilled or a room temperature
