An easy to make "drop" scone with orange and cranberry.

Recipe Ingredients for Cranberry Orange Scone

1 dash salt
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup quick oats
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
2 tsps baking powder
3 tbsps orange juice
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 c dried cranberries

Recipe Directions for Cranberry Orange Scone

  1. Preheat oven to 400F degrees.

  2. Grease cookie sheet lightly with butter or oil.

  3. In large bowl, combine oats,flour, baking soda, baking powder & dash of salt.

  4. Add in sugar, butter (softened), lemon juice, milk & mix until just mixed

  5. Stir in cranberries and carefully mix.

  6. Drop dough into 6-7 circular clumps on cookie sheet & bake for 10-15 mins, or until lightly browned on top.
