Breakfast cranberry orange muffins

Recipe Ingredients for cranberry orange muffins

2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 egg
1 1/4 cups skim milk
1/3 cup apple sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp grated orange zest
170 g craisins

Recipe Directions for cranberry orange muffins

  1. Combine first 3 dry ingredients. Combine egg, milk, apple sauce, sugar and orange zest in large bowl. Add dry ingredients. Stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in cranberries. Spoon batter into greased prepared muffin pan. Bake at 400 F for 20-25 minutes.

  2. Makes 12 muffins
