Recipe Ingredients for Cranberry Orange Bread

2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup orange juice
1 egg
1 tbsp orange peel
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 1/2 cup cranberries
1 oz oil
1 tsp butter

Recipe Directions for Cranberry Orange Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Coat a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan with 1 oz oil ( not all of it) and the 1 tsp on melted butter.

  3. Use large bowl and mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar in a bowl.

  4. In a separate, small bowl, mix the oil, orange juice, egg, orange rind, and almond extract.

  5. Add the orange juice mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until the dry ingredients are moistened.

  6. Fold the cranberries. Pout batter into the prepared pan. Bake 45 to 50 mins. or until a toothpick inserterd comes out clean. Serve cool
