Recipe Ingredients for Cranberry Nut Bread

1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup orange juice (slightly less than 1/2 cup)
1/4 cup raisins
1 egg
3/4 cup cranberries (fresh or frozen and coarsely chopped)
1/4 cup chopped almond

Recipe Directions for Cranberry Nut Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. In a bowl mix together dry ingredients.

  3. Stir in orange juice, raisins and egg.

  4. Mix until well-blended.

  5. Stir in cranberries and nuts.

  6. Turn into a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan. Or divide into 9 cookie portions.

  7. Bake for 55 minutes.

  8. Cool on rack for 15 minutes.
