Recipe Ingredients for Cranberry and Fresh Pear Cobbler

1 tsp grated orange zest
1/2 cup orange juice, medium orange juiced
1/2 cup dried cranberries
2 teaspoons honey
1/2 ripe pear
1/4 cup walnuts
2 tablespoons walnuts

Recipe Directions for Cranberry and Fresh Pear Cobbler

  1. Grate orange zest and place in a mixing bowl.

  2. Cut orange in half and juice both halves into the same bowl as the rind.

  3. Add the cranberries and honey. Mix until the honey is dissolved. Let sit for 1/2 hour to allow cranberries to soften.

  4. After the cranberries have softened, cut the pear into 1/4-inch cubes and add to the bowl.

  5. Add 1/4 cup walnuts.

  6. Divide the mixture into 2 dessert dishes and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of the chopped walnuts.
