Nutritious High Fiber Low Sugar Muffins

Recipe Ingredients for Cranberry Cinnamon Bran Muffins

1 cup wheat bran
1/2 cup all-bran
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup water
1 cup milk
2/3 cup craisins
7 tsp sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cup whole-wheat flour
1/4 cup canola oil
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Cranberry Cinnamon Bran Muffins

Combine first four ingredients (boil water). Stir in milk and cranberries. In a seperate bowl whisk sugar egg and oil. Stir into bran mixture. Preheat oven to 375. In a large bowl stir together flour baking soda and cinnamon. Pour bran mix over flour mix. Stir until just combined. Divide amoung 12 lined muffin cups. Bake for 17-20 min.
