Recipe Ingredients for Cranberry-Cherry Relish

3 cups fresh cranberries
2 pears
10 ounces sweet cherries
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Cranberry-Cherry Relish

  1. Use frozen sweet cherries...Combine all ingredients in a large heavy saucepan and bring the mixture to a simmer over medium-high heat, stirring often to prevent sticking. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally, until the fruit is tender and the relish has thickened, 40-50 minutes. Let cool.

  2. The relish will keep, covered, in the refridgerator for up to 2 weeks.
